Yoga Studio voted Top New Business of 2009
Trish Stratus: from the top in the ring, to top in
business. Stratusphere Yoga Studio has been voted Top New
Business of 2009 in the GTA.
Toronto, Ontario - December 14th,
2009 - Trish Stratus, owner of Stratusphere, has spent the past
decade of her life promoting health and wellness as a role model in
the fitness industry. Once on top in the ring as a sports
entertainer for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), we now see her
on top in the business world as a Top Choice Award recipient.
'I feel stronger than I ever have before, not only physically, but
stronger in both body and mind. I sense the balance between my mind,
body and soul,' said Trish Stratus during the presentation of the
award. When asked why yoga? This is what Trish had to say, 'Yoga was
what allowed me to sustain a sense of balance throughout my career,
helping me achieve my goals and something I could always turn to
throughout my career. Opening a studio was a way to introduce yoga
to as many people as possible.'
Utilizing the wisdom Trish acquired through her years working as a
sports entertainer in the WWE, a company renowned for their
marketing innovation and success, Stratus transferred that
experience into owning and operating her own business.
Monica Couto, Top Choice Awards President shared her thoughts on the
presentation 'I was filled with a calming sensation as soon as I
entered the studio, there is an aura of peace that seems to radiate
everywhere. As soon as you look into Trish's eyes you see such focus
in them, you can understand how she got to where she is now.'
Business owners in the GTA cast their vote during a survey conducted
by Top Choice Awards in search of the GTA's Top New Business of the
Year.
